Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 March 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern use of AnswerPulse, including the current service operated from the existing AnswerPulse deployment during the rebrand transition.
AnswerPulse is owned and operated by Tim Stephenson. Contact details remain those published in the live service environment.
1. About AnswerPulse
AnswerPulse is a software service for tracking how AI search tools and assistants recommend UK service businesses. It provides workspace-based reporting, search history, prompt evidence, and billing-managed subscription access.
2. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate account, workspace, and billing information.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe there is misuse, non-payment, unlawful activity, or risk to the service.
3. Subscription plans and billing
- Paid access is offered on subscription plans shown on the site at the time of purchase.
- Billing is processed through Stripe.
- Plan changes, renewals, cancellations, and payment issues may also generate service emails from AnswerPulse.
- We may update pricing, plan structure, or service features in future, but changes will not be applied retroactively to an already-paid billing period unless clearly stated.
- Where changes affect existing subscribers, we will aim to minimise the impact where reasonably possible and will endeavour to give as much notice as we can of material changes to service, plans, or pricing.
4. Cancellation and deletion
- You may cancel at the end of the billing period or immediately where that option is offered in the product.
- If you cancel at the end of the billing period, access will usually continue until the close of the current paid period unless the product states otherwise.
- If you cancel immediately, searches stop at once and no refund is automatically provided.
- If a paid plan ends or is cancelled, the workspace may remain in read-only retention for 10 days before permanent deletion unless otherwise stated.
- After that retention window, AnswerPulse may permanently delete the workspace, related users, and search history from the live service.
- Following deletion, we may still retain limited records where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or operational purposes.
- Once deletion has completed, a new account, workspace, and plan will be required to use the service again.
5. Refunds
AnswerPulse does not offer automatic refunds for unused time, immediate cancellation, or reduced use during an active billing period unless we choose to do so in a specific case or are required by law.
6. Acceptable use
- Service plans are intended to support customer usage up to their stated plan limits.
- AnswerPulse reserves the right to suspend or restrict service usage in the event of abuse, misuse, or activity that materially risks the service for other users.
- You must not use AnswerPulse unlawfully or in a way that interferes with the service or other users.
- You must not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, overload, or bypass access controls in the service.
- You remain responsible for the lawfulness of the business information and content you submit.
7. Service output and availability
- AnswerPulse is a brand-new service using continually evolving AI models to provide insight into AI search performance.
- We are continually evolving the service and aim to deliver new features, improvements, and fixes as quickly as reasonably possible.
- We will try not to break anything along the way, but we cannot promise the service will be free from bugs, defects, or interruptions at all times.
- AnswerPulse depends on third-party AI, billing, email, hosting, and other infrastructure providers. Their outputs, pricing, policies, and availability may change at any time, which may affect how the service behaves.
- Because AnswerPulse depends on those third-party providers, outputs may vary over time and are not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.
- We may change, improve, suspend, or remove features where reasonably necessary for operation, security, or product development.
- We do not guarantee that any business will be recommended by any AI platform as a result of using AnswerPulse.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, AnswerPulse is provided on an as-available basis and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data beyond what cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Privacy and data protection
Our use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply, both parties remain responsible for complying with their own legal obligations.
10. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
